Wow! Dry and sunny!! Happy paddling to Puerto Natales! Can't wait to speak with you and see the pictures. All is well here. Spring is on the way with crocuses blooming in my yard! Love, M/C
Wow -- you guys are amazing! Equinox on Sunday -- crocus are up -- still getting lots of "in like a Lion" stuff. Can't wait to see you and your little hard-bodies! Do you still remember how to fly? Be safe, fair wind. Love J&M
Irish Blessing: May the raindrops fall lightly on your brow. May the soft winds freshen your spirit. May the sunshine brighten your heart May the burdens of the day rest lightly upon you. (Here is my addition:) And for the love of God, may the rum last until you can stop to get more!!! Love..Heather
NOTE: Our ability to post to this map may be unreliable. Please don't be concerned if position reports are spotty or missing.
Welcome!
This austral summer, from December 1, 2010 to April 1, 2011, Becky and Nick will be paddling sea kayaks from Puerto Montt to Puerto Natales along the patagonian coast of Chile. This 1200 mile journey will take them through protected fjords and open coast, past tidewater glaciers and into isolated fishing villages. We created this blog in hopes that it would keep us better connected with our family and loved ones while on the journey. Posts will only be as frequent as we have internet access, but we invite you to follow along!
